Left Brain

Trina's voyage into creativity began with a love affair with words and letters. As a professional writer, she's interviewed CEOs, thought leaders, and artists for annual reports, coffee table books, and features for art galleries and magazines. She cut her teeth in advertising and PR at Grey, managing international accounts Procter & Gamble, Pfizer, and USAID before jumping to client's side in 2006 and spearheading a massive rebranding initiative. If the School of Visual Arts expanded her curiosity for design, the Asian Institute of Management sharpened her head for business. Together, both exploded her career in graphic design, brand management, and  communications. As co-captain of Tink Tank, Trina charts the path to their crazier  adventures, which include a design thinking conference for climate change and a workshop series for creative professionals.

Right Brain

After spending her activist years in UC Berkeley, Rina high-tailed it straight to New York and into the School of Visual Arts. She launched her branding career in the fashion industry working with fashion giants such as Bloomingdales, The Limited, Donna Karan, Nordstrom, and Eddie Bauer, to name a few. She has since expanded her career globally, moving to Asia in 2009.
She tucked away her suit and slipped on her boardshorts and flip-flops to surf the waves of creativity at the Philippines. There, she jumped headfirst into the exciting world of startups, founding a revolutionary creative recruitment platform – the first of its kind in Asia. An in-demand speaker and consultant on branding, design for change, and the future of the creative economy, Rina toggles between New York and Manila to stir waves of innovation.
